I'm an software person with interest in statistics/quantitative analysis. Lots of experience of databases (mainly PostgreSQL) and quite a variety of programming languages. Have professionally used Python, C, R, JavaScript and TypeScript, C++, Haskell and Java the most, but very interested in more obscure ones (e.g. ATS and pony recently). Seem to keep falling back on TeX when I need nicely typeset documents, but don't like the language.
